Zara, Bershka and Pull&Bear: Kazakhstan Could Become a Logistics Hub for Inditex Brands
Spanish fashion group Inditex plans to expand its presence in Kazakhstan and turn the country into a regional logistics hub for Central Asia.

The announcement followed a meeting between Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Inditex Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Director of External Relations Santiago Martínez Lage Sobredo. The meeting took place in Brussels during the president's official visit to Belgium.
During the meeting, Tokayev said economic cooperation remains one of the key pillars of relations between Kazakhstan and Spain. According to the president, around 60 Spanish companies are currently operating in Kazakhstan.
Inditex is already developing a regional logistics hub based at the airports of Almaty and Karaganda. The company sees Kazakhstan as a future regional logistics hub for Central Asia.
Tokayev also suggested that Inditex consider establishing textile manufacturing facilities in Kazakhstan.
For his part, Santiago Martínez Lage Sobredo highlighted Kazakhstan's favorable business and investment climate and outlined the company's plans for further expansion in the country.
Inditex is a Spanish fashion group that owns the brands Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho and Zara Home.
