Tashkent’s Center for Islamic Civilization Enters the Guinness World Records
The Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent has officially been recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest museum of Islamic civilization in the world.

The achievement has been officially recorded in the Guinness World Records.
The certificate was presented by Guinness World Records adjudicator Sheyda Subasi. During the ceremony, she praised the high standards of the project and expressed gratitude to all those involved in its development, including architects, planners, designers, and construction workers.
The Center for Islamic Civilization is located near the historic Hazrati Imam complex in Tashkent. Its architectural design is inspired by monuments of medieval Islamic architecture. The building features four 34-meter-high portals and a central dome rising 65 meters.
The center includes a Hall of the Quran, a 460-seat conference hall, and a museum whose exhibitions trace the region’s history from the pre-Islamic era to the present day.
The Center for Islamic Civilization is expected to become one of the region’s leading educational and research institutions. It plans to develop cooperation with the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan as well as with research and educational centers abroad.
The recognition by Guinness World Records marks an important international acknowledgment of the center’s significance in preserving, studying, and promoting the rich heritage of Islamic civilization.
